Building and Construction Engineering (BCE) Evening
This program prepares students and graduates to work on a variety of projects such as the design and construction of buildings, bridges, highways, dams, drainage and irrigation systems, streets, parks, subdivisions, and water supply and sewer systems. The program graduate will possess the following knowledge and skills in: drafting, detailing computing, surveying, laboratory testing (soil mechanics, concrete and asphalt paving), construction inspection, preparation of specifications and costs, basic structural design in steel and reinforced concrete, design of water distribution and sewage collection systems, and writing technical reports and correspondence.
