DEPARTMENT OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
This Department ME is the branch of engineering dealing with the design, construction, and use of machines. It has got two programs: Automobile and Mechanics Engineering & Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineering (ACRE).
- Automobile and Mechanics Engineering
This Program is again called automotive mechanics Engineering largely trains the students the skills bringing them to professionally work in auto repair shops, typically at either a shop that repairs a wide range of vehicles or a dealer that works on a particular brand. Mechanics Technicians/Engineers work directly discussing the specific operations of a particular vehicle so as to identify the source of problems with vehicles, and then repair them so the car or truck can operate closer to its optimum level. They also carry out routine inspections of vehicles to make sure that they are safe to operate on the road.
Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineering (ACRE).
This program trains about heating, ventilation, and air conditioning providing hands-on skills in this field. The instructions to this program are based on the technology of indoor and vehicular environmental comfort. Its goal is to provide thermal/cooling comfort and acceptable indoor air quality. The student is trained in addition about how to make/produce the systems driven by air and their technologies.
