This Department of EEE is a field of engineering that generally deals with the study and application of electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism. It provides hand-on skills in those study patterns. EEE Department has got two programs: Electrical Power Engineering (EPE) and Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE).

  1. Electrical Power Engineering Program (EPE)

It aims to educate the professional technicians/engineers by instructing the hands-on skills in all trends of electrical engineering practices. The theoretical based knowledge facilitates them to conduct their own projects which result on creativities and production of new equipment needed at local and international trade market. Electricity, Electronics and Electromagnetism concepts are the main factors to facilitate our students to deal with the market demand.

  1. Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)

This program is an engineering discipline that brings together all electrical and Electronics engineering disciplines including computer engineering with systems engineering to enhance communication systems. The work ranges from basic circuit design to strategic mass developments. An electronics and communication engineer is responsible for designing and overseeing the installation of communications equipment and facilities, such as complex electronic switching systems, copper wire telephone facilities, fiber optics cabling, IP data systems, Terrestrial radio link systems for conventional communications and process information. This will enable the students to design the electronic specialized equipment and troubleshoot the all the equipment in electronics and/or broadcasting engineering field works.
